Ans:- Pathatic fallacy

5. The thirsty earth soaks up the rain.

Ans:- Personification

6. Life is like a battlefield.

Ans:- Simili

justify:- The Sentence is Simili because has the like between life and battlefield.

7. She had a thousand works to do.

Ans:- Hyper bole 

Justify:- The above sentence is hyper bole because no on has thousand works.
