Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the Vice President from 1952 to 1962. Second President from 1962 to 1967. He was a great philosopher, educationist, humanist. Radhakrishnan married Sivakam at the age of 16. They have five daughters and one son. Son’s name is Sarvepalli Gopal. After listening to Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s speech in London, HN Spalding was offered a position at Oxford for Eastern Religions and Ethics in 1936.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan served as the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University from 1953 to 1952. Radhakrishnan established the Krishnarpan Charity Trust along with Ghanshyam Das Birla and others.
