INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATE IN BALLYGUNGE GOVT HIGH SCHOOL .

The Independence day was celebrated in our school on 15th August . All the students were present in the school uniform at 8 a.m. At first the Principal of our school hoisted the national flag in our school play ground which was followed by our national C anthem . After that the Principal delivered a short speech about 9 the importance of Independence and our duty . After that the students of senior classes have done marched past . At last there was a short cultural programme consist of poetry , patriotic songs and a short drama . Some sweets are distributed among the students after completion of the programme .

BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN MANMATH NATH HIGH SCHOOL .

On 26 January , a blood donation camp was held in our school after completion of Republic day celebration . The camp was started at 10:30 am , with the help of blood bank . Students of senior classes came forward to donate the blood . The local councillor paid a visit to our blood donation camp . Dr. Mousumi Roy from SSKM hospital supervised our camp . The collected blood was sent to the blood bank . Egg , Banana , Milk were given to all blood donors along with a certificate . The camp was ended at about 4 p.m.

Super Cyclone Amphan destroyed your locality uprooting trees , damages wires etc.

 AMPHAN TOLLS 84 LIVES AND RAVAGES

Kolkata , 17th May : The deadly tropical cyclonic storm Amphan ( Pronounced as Um – pun ) caused wide spread damage in the coastal districts of Odisha and West Bengal in India and Bangladesh . It was the strongest tropical cyclone to strike the River Ganges Delta since 1999 Odisha super cyclone . The cyclone burst in full fury followed by massive landfalls . The coastal areas like Sundarbans were severely lashed by the ferocious wind and incessant rains . Thousands of trees were uprooted in the gales , electricity and telephone lines brought down and houses flattened .

Though Corona virus restrictions have been hindering emergency , relief works and evacuations , the urnest efforts from the part of Government made nearly 2.5 million people evacuated before the storm . Initial assessments of the damage are being hampered by blocked roads and flooding . The Government assured every assistance possible.
