It has announced to reduce the prices of old models. The discounted phones include iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15, and iPhone 14 Plus. It is known that their prices have been reduced by Rs.10 thousand.
On the other hand, the Apple company has stopped the sale of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max phones through their official website. But, it is available at third party retailers and Apple Authorized Sellers. Times of India has published an article saying that Apple Company has taken a key decision. It has decided to offer price protection policy to its customers. This means that those who have recently purchased the new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus who are eligible for this price protection policy will be refunded the reduced prices. Those who purchase within 14 days of the announcement of the price reduction are eligible. That is, on the occasion of the release of iPhone 16, it announced a price reduction on older models. Those who have paid the full price within 14 days of this announcement will get a refund of Rs.10,000.
How to claim iPhone 15, 14 refund?
As suggested by the Apple company, customers who have recently purchased iPhone 15 and 14 can claim a refund. Apple company said that they can contact Apple store or Apple customer support number 000800 040 1966 and request a refund. They have to show that they have the original receipt. However, this is applicable only for those who bought within 14 days of the price reduction announcement. Also, this refund is not applicable to those who purchased during special sales events, limited time price reduction etc. On the other hand, Apple’s price protection policy is only applicable for up to 10 phones. It should also be original proof. The company said that the decision was taken so that those who bought recently should not lose out due to the price cut.
