• 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are required in class 12th.
• Citizens of India, Nepal and Bhutan are required.
• Students should be between 21 to 32 years of age. Age relaxation is given for ST, SC, OBC students.

Entrance Test

To study computer science engineering in an educational institution in West Bengal, students have to appear the West Bengal JEE entrance exam. Apart from this there are many other entrance exams including JEE Main entrance exam for national level.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam is conducted offline. MCQ format consists of total 200 marks questions based on Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics subjects. 40 questions are on Chemistry, 40 are on Physics and 75 are on Mathematics. The time limit is usually 4 hours. After clearing this entrance test candidates are called for counseling based on the merit list. After counseling students can get admission in university.
